Restrict traffic flow through the Main St & removing ALL onstreet car parking in the village, loosing the largest public space, the Greenhills plaza, inserting a second βbus gateβ at Nugents & the Esso site and redirecting cars onto the N81 when approaching the village from Main Rd, Bancroft, Newtown, Glenview and Tymon North.\r\n\r\nRemove the current 40+ onstreet car parking bays.\r\nThis will directly mean all village residents and businesses will have to pay for private car parking.\r\nThe council residents parking and 30 mins free parking will no longer be available on Main St or the Old Greenhills Rd.\r\nWhy should residents, some third generation Tallaght village, lose onstreet parking after having it for over 60 years!\r\nThis will devalue their homes, increase car insurance, make it impossible for people to visit them in cars. Petition: Repair the brownstown Road newcastle - with road closures lasting months - it is imperative, this is repaired - it is the only available road for locals.. - about half way on the browns town Road Newcastle - about the size of a van in length and width - approx 4or 5 inches deep at at the moment & full of water. Thereβs a lot of them on that road . The Loughtown road that the traffic is diverted to, the opposite side is as bad . The road at the Polly hops is the same if not worse, two months people are raising their concerns over it, cars destroyed, tyres destroyed. |
